When Oxfordshire County Council approached me with a project to highlight the success stories of care leavers in Oxford, I knew I could make a significant contribution.

I drew upon my personal experience of growing up in care and interviewed care leavers to create a series of posters called Positive Stories. Through collaboration with the care leavers, we were able to create a compelling campaign that caught the attention of the Oxford Care Leaver Association (OCLA). As a result, their housing project for care leavers in Oxford was awarded a substantial government grant. I am proud of the impact that my work had on this sensitive topic and grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.
